HAPPY FACES DAY 2011
March 12th, 2011This year the IPPA Happy Faces Day takes place on Saturday March 12th.
Come to the Harvey Norman store in Carrickmine's between 10am and 5pm and let Geraldine create a beautiful portrait for you for just a €25 donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland.
This national event was first launched by the Irish Professional Photographers Association(IPPA) in 2006 and has since raised over €250,000 for various charities.
100% of all the costs are absorbed by participating photographers to ensure that all of your donation will benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Association.
Everyone photographed has a chance to win a Canon camera or one of five weekends away in one of the Select Hotels of Ireland group of hotels.
So come along and help raise funds for a great cause!

WINNER OF THE IPPA/RSA PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARD
January 20th, 2010Geraldine O'Driscoll was awarded the Irish Professional Photographers Association / RSA Professional Photographer of the Year 2009 at the National Photographic Awards in January
It is such an honour to reach the final and to be competing with the best in the industry let alone receive the premium award that the association presents.
This year saw the greatest number of entries - almost 2,500, and Geraldine is the first ever woman in the history of the awards to win it for portraiture.
The award is presented to the overall winner from all the photography disciplines the association represents, such as advertising, commercial, fashion, wedding and landscape to name a few.
Geraldine also won the Best Classical Portfolio award.
